Contact Me
The best way to learn more about schedules, fees, and other matters is to phone me at
415-923-1150.
I find that most introductory conversations about therapy are best done by telephone rather than email, since the phone allows me to fully answer the questions you have when you call, as well as the follow-up questions that often arise for either party in the course of such an exchange. The phone also allows me to get information from you that can save you time when you arrive at my office.
Days I am in my office I will answer the phone personally if I am not with a client. When I am with someone, as well as on days I am out of the office, a confidential answering machine takes messages for me. No one but me hears messages left on this machine. If the answering device takes your call please leave a message with your name, phone number, and some times I might reach you so we don’t have to play telephone tag. I check for messages several times most days, and generally return calls the day they come in or the day after at the latest.
If you are unable or unwilling to use the telephone for an initial communication, you can click here to email me directly. I see email most but not all days, and rarely when I am out of town. Ordinarily, I will reply to your email the day I read it, or the day after at the latest.
