Provide insight-oriented long-term psychotherapy, and problem-solving short-term counseling to adult individuals and couples. 1984 - 1989: Redwood House, Redwood City CA. Counselor in short term residential psychiatric facility for severely disturbed adults. Took and assessed referrals, conducted intake interviews, counseled individuals, led groups, provided crisis intervention and in house case management, administered psychiatric medications, trained new staff.
