After a successful career in communications that combined writing, teaching English at a major American university, and editing several magazines, I returned to school in my mid-30s to pursue my long-standing interest in clinical psychology. Along the way I discovered that many people had greater concerns about their sexuality than most psychotherapists were trained to address; and so, after completing my master’s degree and most of my doctorate in psychology I attained my terminal degree in human sexuality. The following pages give some indication of how I’ve spent my time since I got my license.
